From the Pastor

Our Vision is:

To see every member of CCR equipped, empowered and released to do the work of service to the community where they live, work and play.

For each believer at CCR to walk in confidence and sensitivity to the prompting of the Holy Spirit in the market place, knowing God has made them able ministers of the New Testament message of love, mercy and grace.

For each believer at CCR to be aware of the glory and goodness they carry as kingdom people.

To understand and apply the promise Jesus gave when He said, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father."

The Church I see is outward-focused, seeing that the field of ministry is outside the four walls of the building where we meet on Sundays.

The Church I see worships passionately, prays effectively, serves faithfully, gives generously, loves unconditionally, accepts people graciously, forgives deeply, and represents Jesus completely.

The Church I see knows her assignment specifically, doing that assignment with excellence, and walking humbly before God and man. We must identify our general assignment (the Great Commission in Matt. 28:16-20), and specific area of engagement with the needs we see and how God has uniquely resourced us.

"The Church I see is..."

  • Growing spiritually and numerically.
  • A community of prayer.

We will do this by:

  1. Reaching out beyond the walls of the building and beyond social, economic and ethnic barriers, through attitudes of kindness, hope and expectancy.
  2. Preaching and teaching the message of the kingdom of God, which Jesus preached and demonstrated.
  3. Demonstrating the present availability of kingdom power to save, heal and deliver through bold prayer and proclamation of the good news of the reign of grace.
  4. Being fully engaged in praise, worship and devotion to the truth of the Word of God.
  5. Actively and sensitively seeking to give witness of the goodness and saving grace of Jesus Christ to all within the sphere of our influence.
  6. Expecting results when the goodness of God is preached with conviction and the fruit of true repentance.
  7. Giving ourselves to the faithful gathering together of believers for the purpose of worship, teaching, training and deployment to the needy in the community.
  8. Seeking to help people discover their creative gifts as well as receiving impartation and empowerment through the Holy Spirit baptism.
  9. Releasing believers in their God-ordained destiny and purpose so that they are fruitful and effective in ministry.
